Infantasia 2024

Last month we welcomed over 600 children to perform to one another for our most magical Infantasia yet!

Infantasia is our annual celebration of singing for KS1 children from schools across Sunderland. Held at various schools across the city, schools were invited to bring a class or choir to perform two songs of their choosing to their fellow schools and showcase all the hard work they’ve been putting into their singing.

Not only does Infantasia provide a beautiful show for all involved, but gives the children an opportunity to perform outside of their schools in a relaxed and comfortable environment surrounded by others of their own age.

Due to the amount of interest, this year saw six shows take place in different schools across a whole week, with over 600 children coming together from 23 schools to celebrate each other’s singing.

Thank you to all the schools that hosted us, as well as all visiting schools and our touring duo of Laura Taylor and Ian Bianchi, who’s hosting and management of the shows made them so engaging and run without a hitch.

Most importantly though, we would like to say thank you and well done to all the children who came and rewarded us with their amazing singing. Each and every one of them were stars on the stage and the perfect audience for one another. It was brilliant to see and hear the singing that they and their staff have been working so hard on and we are already looking forward to next year’s shows!
