Young Sounds: Connect

Connect is a programme from Young Sounds UK working in partnership with Sunderland Music Hub.

It helps young people who show musical potential but may not be able to access 1-2-1 music lessons due to financial barriers. It provides young people with lessons, a bursary, individual learning plans that put our students at the centre of their learning and access to ’Get Togethers,’ which provide a range of musical experiences with other young people across the city.

Another strand of the programme is to help connect young musicians across the city; showing musical progression opportunities and providing access and pathways to more music.
