Ready, Steady, Play! is both an online and in-person singing and music making space for learning disabled young people with complex support needs and their families.

Ready, Steady, Play! (previously known as Soundabout) is a space for young people to explore their musical interests with support from professional community musicians and meet likeminded young people. In our sessions you can get involved with singing, instrument playing, or simply enjoy listening to Ashleigh and Chad. 

Sessions take place every Tuesday and families can join our online group through Teams, 4:00-4:45pm. Or if you would like to join our in-person session, this is held 5:00-5:45pm in Washington Centre Library, Independence Square, NE38 7RZ.

Washington Library is accessible through two entrances. Walk-through videos showing how to access the library from The Galleries car parks will be sent out to all families in advance.
